True Locals Rusted Sea Turtle Sculpture by Dave C Reynolds and Sam Bernal

This is my "Rusted Sea Turtle" sculpture. I have always loved seeing them in their natural habitat. On the North Shore they will pop up right next to you to say hi! Stands 15 inches high. The turtle and seaweed are hand resin cast with actual metal coatings and patina. Turtle is suspended on a rusted rod. This piece is bronze with iron/rust patina. You are buying this actual piece. Every one of these turns out different and unique. The seaweed was sculpted by surfer/artist Sam Bernal. I used a Japanese wood burning technique called Shou Sugi Ban for the wood portion of the base. The lowest part of the base is a custom resin cast with textured finish. Would make the perfect accent piece for any tropical or surf room. This would make an incredible award or trophy. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Weighs a significant 4 1/2 pounds.
