End of the Road Teahupo'o Surfer Sculpture by Dave C Reynolds

This piece I call "End of the Road". Tahiti's wave Teahupo'o is one of the most incredible and dangerous waves in the world. Teahupo'o translated to english is End of the Road. Sculpture is inspired by World Champion surfer Andy Irons at the legendary wave. Standing tall. This sculpture was used at the 2024 Olympics for VIP's involved with the surfing competition, including the IOC Director. Total height is 10". Sculpture size is 5"x7". Has an actual bronze metal coating on the front. Looks exactly like a solid bronze casting at a fraction of the price. Mounted above a custom wood  block with Shou Sugi Ban Japanese wood treatment done to it. A wood burning technique that leaves the raised and unique wood grains you see. Satin finish on base. As you can see I have utilized my world class surf trophy designs and skills to produce these.  Limited to 100 castings. Each piece is signed and numbered on the back. You also get a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
