Bolsa Glider Surfboard Fin & Pelican Sculpture by Dave C Reynolds

I call this special piece "Bolsa Glider". This creation combines 3 things that I love! Surfing, pelicans and Bolsa Chica! Pelicans have always been my favorite bird. I love watching them soar over the water surface riding the wave created updrafts. I have an extensive love and history with Bolsa Chica and surf or paddle there most days. The pelican sculpture I created has a 10 inch wingspan and has a unique copper and rust patina. Printed on the actual surfboard fin is a photo of the bridge at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. Digitally rendered by my pal and digital expert James Dombrowski. The base is made from bamboo panel. Bolsa Chica Conservancy logo and Bolsa Glider are laser etched on the base. I used all my trophy designing and art skills to produce this special art piece. These are only available through this site.
